Frequently asked questions
Is the CLI really free?
Yes. The self CLI is open source and local-first — goals, decisions, work and reports live on your machine. You pay only when an agent runs paid work through a plugin, like sending mail.
How is email priced?
₩1 or $0.001 per accepted recipient, in your account's currency. Suppressed addresses (unsubscribed, bounced) and sends the validation gate refuses are not charged.
What is in the free tier, and when does it reset?
100 emails a day and 3,000 a month on fixed templates, plus 1 landing site. It resets 00:00 KST daily and on the 1st (Asia/Seoul), and it never touches the wallet.
What happens when a call fails?
Nothing is charged. The wallet reserves an amount per batch and only confirms what actually ran; a refused, failed or partial batch releases the rest.
Can I cap what agents spend?
Yes. You approve scopes per agent from your own device, the wallet cannot go below zero, and auto-recharge only runs inside a monthly cap you set. No agent scope can top up the wallet.
Which currency do I pay in?
KRW (card via NicePay) or USD (Polar). You pick one at signup; it is fixed at your first confirmed top-up. Prices, balances and refunds always carry the currency with the amount.
Can I get unused balance back?
Yes. When you close the account, the unused balance is refunded against the original payments, oldest first, never more than each payment put in.
What does the validation gate check?
Content rules (sender info, urgency or credential bait, look-alike domains), every link hop, and quiet hours for advertising mail. A pass sends, a refusal stops right there, and an unclear case waits for a human review.
